Inspect on the machine
This feature of NC-PartLocator checks the part after machining so you know immediately after machining if it will pass final inspection. This is an important in-process quality check, as it allows you to verify the part alignment is correct before the part is removed from the fixture.
Reduce CMM reliance
Inspecting the part on the CNC machine before removing it from the fixture removes reliance on the CMM and reduces CMM backlogs which can cause costly delays. It also gives Production control over their processes rather than the Quality department.
Adapt processes for more work
By reducing CMM backlogs, you can accommodate for the increase in production generated from using MSP’s software. The software gives you the ability to confirm parts are within tolerance and continue production immediately without waiting for final inspection and losing all the efficiency gains you made up earlier in the process.
