Tony is MSP’s co-founder and Commercial Director and has over 40 years’ experience in Advanced Manufacturing.
He established MSP in 2002, together with co-founder Peter Hammond, with a vision to use the probes fitted on CMM and machine tools to their full potential and deliver automated, accurate part setup and inspection – making true precision engineering possible.
MSP has continued on an upward trajectory of growth under Tony's leadership, commercial focus and his ability to build positive and long lasting relationships with our clients, strategic partners and associate company Renishaw.
Tony is a named inventor on four patented products, all of which relate to machine tool calibration and measurement methods. He actively shares his experience and knowledge of metrology and part processes with his peers and uses it to influence the future of the manufacturing industry.
With over 30 years experience within accountancy, Denise worked for several large organisations as part of their internal finance teams, before becoming a driving force in the formation of MSP in 2002.
Denise’s role has evolved greatly since the business was established. The expansion of the business, including employee growth and advancement into global sales, has resulted in significant changes to the business and Denise has been integral to this transition, continuing to inform herself with current policies regarding people management and foreign transactions.
As Director of Finance, Denise oversee's all purchase and sales ledger functions, manages the business's financial forecasting, liaises with external parties for the business’s yearly audit, analyses month end figures and presents these reports to MSP's associate company Renishaw PLC.
Margaret’s varied 30-year career spans all three sectors (private, public and third) working for high profile International and Regional companies in Strategic Management positions; including British Airways, Norwich Union, Your Move and Gateshead Council.
Since joining MSP 10 years ago, Margaret has led MSP through significant expansion by enabling diversification into new and emerging markets. Her expertise lies in transformational strategy, process management and operational excellence.
Margaret's role as Director of Operations at MSP, encompasses the income generation and operational needs of the business.
She is responsible for multiple departments including sales, marketing, engineering and quality and succeeds in supply chain and relationship management of MSP’s global customers and strategic partners.
Marianne has spent the last 25 years working in technology and product development and has extensive experience of working strategically with government and large corporates.
Since joining MSP in 2018, she has applied her knowledge, energy and expertise to transforming MSP’s approach to strategy and product development, and spearheaded the launch of the AutoClock product into the market.
As Director of Development, she oversees five product development teams and is responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of products that satisfy the changing needs of our customers, whilst exploiting the opportunities of new and emerging technologies.
Marianne is actively involved in the North East of England’s digital and technology sector and is co-founder of the Sphere Network, which meets regularly to explore new technologies and resolve problems through digital solutions and cross-sector collaboration. She is also a regular speaker and facilitator of events covering women in technology, digital business and digital skills.
