Digitalisation Sector Showcase - Opportunities for Composite Manufacturers

Join us at this Composites UK and National Composites Centre event on 6th June!

Throughout the day, learn how digitalisation can offer opportunities for manufacturers to optimise processes, reduce waste and increase production quality (among many others!).

Our Technical Account Manager, Aidan Wigham, will be answering the question: ‘Could Metrology Software be the Answer to Eliminating Scrapped Parts?’. His presentation will involve explaining how using a probeon a CNC machine to generate metrology-quality data, the position and distortion of each part can be measured, and alignment software can automatically update the controller to compensate.The part will be automatically aligned to micron levels of accuracy and traceable alignment reports will be generated that can feed into existing production management systems, suitable for connected digital factories.

The event opens for registration at 9am, with presentations starting at 9:45am. The event will close at approximately 4pm. An optional tour of the National Composies Centre is included within the ticket price.
