There’s a lot of buzz about the ‘Factory of the Future’ and ‘Industry 4.0,’ but there are other developments happening behind the scenes that will fundamentally change the way the manufacturing sector operates.
In this session, we’ll be exploring developments in additive manufacturing (3D-printing with metals).
We will be dispelling some of the myths, discussing the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to improve the additive production process, and considering how these developments will ultimately ‘free up’ the design process for product designers and engineers.
