    MSP x Biesse Materia CL Machine 

    Watch the video to see our automated part alignment software in action on the Biesse Materia CL machine. 

    Together, it's possible to achieve ultimate accuracy and finish machine composite parts right-first-time, every time. 

    The part is probed (in this video, a Renishaw probe is used). MSP's NC-PartLocator uses this probing data to then calculate the alignment for the part. This compensates for any errors (for example, if the part is not in the correct location on the machine or there is a level of distortion on the part) that makes the actual part different from the nominal CAD. The corrected alignment is uploaded to the controller automatically and the part is then machined with the correct alignment applied, ensuring it will be machined right-first-time.
