by Hannah Brown on 4:03 PM on January 30, 2020
MSP are pleased to be announced as the headline sponsor of the North West Aerospace Alliance’s (NWAA) ‘Inside the Prime’ event, in association with Airbus.
Hosted on the 25th of February at Airbus’ site in Broughton, North Wales, the event aims to showcase how to become a supplier to a key global player within the aerospace industry. This will include networking opportunities with Senior Airbus Management, a tour of the Broughton facility and in-depth knowledge and understanding sessions.
MSP work extensively in the aerospace sector revolutionising the way the industry make and measure parts around the world. They understand part processes from CAD design right through to quality control and their products identify errors throughout complex part production and help eliminate them before they affect part quality. These products, predominately NC-Checker and NC-PartLocator, have played a central role in key projects for major players within the industry, including BAE Systems, Safran, Quickstep and Pratt and Whitney, where they have been adopted to solve the challenges of complex part production. MSP’s work has been acknowledged with three prestigious BAE Systems Chairman’s awards and several industry awards.
As part of the sponsorship, MSP’s Technical Director, Peter Hammond will be speaking at the event, delivering a presentation on the need to increase part quality within the industry and throughout the supply chain. He will also discuss MSP’s own experience of working with Prime Suppliers.
Peter comments: “We have worked with many Tier 1 / Prime Aerospace companies throughout our 18 year history and are delighted we can share our expertise and support this prestigious event at Airbus. We have been active members of the NWAA for nearly 10 years and their events always provide a great insight for members and moving the industry forward”.
