MSP PerfectPart 2026
At a glance
MSP PerfectPart 2026 brings more features and improvements for the user. This release includes significant improvements including a new alignment capability which transforms how parts can be positioned and constrained. The process for uploading multiple alignments has also been improved and, for users who work with fast product design cycles or multiple part variants with small design iterations, there is now a faster way to update alignments in these scenarios.
New Features
Local coordinate system part alignments
MSP PerfectPart reports now available in JSON format
New JSON output of measurement and Benchmark data makes it possible to integrate with Renishaw Central and other third-party systems.
Uploading multiple alignments in a single process
Alignment offsets available for small part adjustments
Users can now apply manual offsets to alignments without re-running the alignment process or having to apply manual controller offsets, enabling faster adjustments for fine or small part variations.
New parameter to suppress alignment upload
It is now possible to control whether alignment data is uploaded to the controller at the end of a process. This can save time and helps for scenarios where it is not suitable for the alignment upload to be automatic.
Automated Trend Benchmark reports
It is no longer necessary to manually select which reports should be included in a Trends Benchmark report. After each Benchmark is run, a Trends Benchmark report is automatically created containing the most recent set of Benchmarks.
Support for machine-based licensing using Siemens Server
Updates in this release have eliminated the need for a physical USB dongle on PCs attached to Siemens controllers to simplify licence deployment and management.
MSP PerfectPart compatible with Trumpf machines
This release enables MSP PerfectPart to be used with Trumpf laser cutting and punching machines. This includes expansion of the REPEAT template loop for complex part programs.
Increased Okuma machine compatibility
MSP PerfectPart is now compatible with more Okuma machines. Please get in touch if you would like a quote for MSP PerfectPart on your Okuma machines.
Improvements
Part information retained when reconnecting to the controller
When the connection to MSP PerfectPart is reset, the active part is now unaffected. This allows processes to continue more seamlessly.
Most recent benchmark link on the homepage now displays Archive tab’s Benchmarks
Clicking the Benchmark button on the homepage now switches immediately to the Archive tab and filters processes, streamlining report access.
Improved machine licensing error messaging
There is now improved error messaging for
machine-based licensing checks to solve
confusion.
Pass/fail spokes no longer contribute to the Benchmark metric value by default
Boolean pass/fail spokes are now excluded from all benchmark quality metrics by default to ensure results are not skewed by these results.
The final stage report for alignments with weightings is displayed as default
If you have performed an alignment with multiple stages and have had to use weightings, the default report shown in the Report tab is now the final stage rather than the initial stage.
Support for multiple probes in automated Benchmarks
Automated Benchmark processes now support multiple probes with different radii and feedrates.
