At a glance
MSP PerfectPart 2025 brings more features and improvements for the user. This release includes the ability to configure machine parameters simply, a more stable connection for Okuma controllers and Comparison Benchmark reports to enable better correlation between the customer, machine tool vendor and MSP.
New Features
Ability to combine multiple reports into one document
Apply surface offsets to features
Feature sizes can now be offset from nominal by a specified value to account for known stock or CAD discrepancies.
Pass/Fail results included in Benchmark spokes
Specify which WiFi network MSP PerfectPart should connect to
With this release, there is improved stability when there are numerous WiFi networks or for when moving the PC to different locations
Improvements
More informative display of point group report labels
Labels in the Graphics tab are now a lot more informative because individual point errors can be displayed.
Trend Benchmarks now appear in the Archive tab
Trend reports are now stored like normal Benchmark reports and can be easily analysed at any time in the Archive tab.
Improved calibration setup for machines that use inches
Additional safety precautions are now in place to detect that the default values in MSP PerfectPart match the unit settings on the machine tool.
Fixed inconsistency with the rounding of units in the MSPROTD file
There is now more accuracy with decimal points when uploading files onto machines that are working in inches.
